Like us animals feel the cold too!

10 Jan 2026

As the temperatures remain cold, please be mindful that your pets need warmth too. The best solution is to bring them indoors. Keeping kennels warm during winter is vital for your dog's comfort and health. Here are some ideas to ensure your dog's kennel is warm: Insulation: Use materials like foam boards, straw, or reflective insulation to insulate the kennel walls and floor. Bedding: Provide warm bedding such as thermal blankets or straw. Heating Sources: Consider using heated dog beds, pads, or bowls. Placement: Position the kennel in a sheltered area away from prevailing winds and ensure it receives as much sunlight as possible. Ensure you regularly check the kennel for damage and replace bedding as required.
